n  SRDC Joint Meeting of Board and Full Commission will be held on Thursday, May 14 at 3:00 p.m. at the  Balaton Community Center, Balaton.

n  PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Southwest Regional Development Commission (SRDC) will hold a public hearing on its budget for Fiscal Year 2010 (July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010) on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Balaton Community Center, 134 3rd Street, Balaton, MN.   The Hearing will begin at 5:45 p.m. and continue until all persons wishing to offer testimony have been heard.  Download a copy of the FY10 Draft Budget or copies of the proposed budget may be obtained at the Southwest Regional Development Commission Office, 2401 Broadway Avenue, Slayton, Minnesota.  Copies of the proposed budget are also on file with each county auditor, county coordinator, city clerk, and township association chairman in Region 8.

n  SRDC Annual Meeting on Thursday, July 9 at 4:00 p.m. at Key Largo located on Lake Shetek north of Slayton.
