Southwest Region Public Transit – Human Services Transportation Coordination Plans

These plans were developed to meet the Federal Transportation Act planning requirements for projects who receive federal funds from the federal transit programs.  Updates to the Plan are every 5 years.

The 2016 Local Human Services-Public Transit Coordination Plan was completed and adopted by the SRDC Board of Directors on June 8, 2017.   To read Region 8’s Strategies and Projects for the next five years, see pages 64-76 of the plan. The creation of the 2016 Local Human Services-Public Transit Coordination Plan involved four Steering Committee meetings, conducted surveys, hosted six focus groups meetings, one public planning workshop, and a 3 week public comment period.

Languages & Interpreter Services in Southwest Minnesota: The purpose of this document is to identify pathways to increase outreach with under-served communities in Southwest Minnesota.  This document can be used to assist in community outreach and information dissemination.  Additionally, this work achieves completion of a portion of an action item in the 2016 Local Human Services-Public Transit Coordination Plan.
